In a 5-way pot on a 4 of Spades 3 of Clubs 6 of Clubs flop, action checked around to Eric Afriat in the cutoff, who fired 1,000 into a 2,200 pot. He found calls from the button and small blind players before Marc-Andre Ladouceur check-raised to 5,000 from the big blind. Eric replied with an all-in for just over 13,000 and Marc-Andre made the call as play closed heads-up.

Eric tabled 2 of Clubs 5 of Clubs for a flopped straight, with a draw to the flush, and Marc-Andre tabled 4 of Clubs 7 of Clubs for a pair with straight and flush possibilities. As Eric was calling for red cards, the dealer rung out a Jack of Spades and then a Jack of Clubs. Marc-Andre finished the hand with the higher flush, sending Eric to the rail.
