When we arrived at table 62, all the chips were in between Josue Sauvageau and Daniel Ghionoiu.

The dealer was preparing to pull out the river, and the board already showed 10 of Diamonds 6 of Hearts King of Hearts Queen of Diamonds with Josue holding a set with 6 of Spades 6 of Clubs, and Daniel two-pairs with King of Clubs 10 of Spades. Josue had the big advantage, but the 10 of Clubs on the river came and changed all that. Both players ended the hand with a full-house, however Daniel’s tens-full-of-kings locked in the pot, sending Josue out of this WPT Montreal – for now at least… This Main Event allows one re-entry per flight (as well as next-day re-entry), so we might very well see Josue take another shot.
