Glenn Wright was the chip leader during the break following level 8 with 126,500, and has managed to significantly increase his stack in the last level of play, currently sitting on around 230,000. This figure represents more than double any other player in the field and over 5 times the current average stack, although a lot of poker still lies ahead of us tonight.

8 levels have been completed so far in Day 1F of The $250 Frenzy, and although a number of players have managed to double or triple their stacks so far, only Glenn Wright has managed to breach the 6 figures so far – his 126,500 stack is well ahead of the rest of the field.

Below are the top 5 counts in play entering level 9. It’s interesting to note that more than a dozen players fall between the 60K and 75K mark, we should start seeing some of them separate themselves from the others.

More than half of the flight is now behind Day 1F players, and in a few minutes they will be on a short chip-up break, during which we will bring an update on the top counts in play. A few big stacks have already began forming in this massive 278 player field, and with 5.6 million chips total in play we should expect some of the bigger stacks to date to emerge from tonight’s flight.
