Coming back from the second break, Kyle Jackson was one of the chip leaders in the tournament. But it took just one level for Kyle to be eliminated by another chip leader – that table had 3 of the top 4 stacks in the tournament at the time.

According to Kyle, he lost most of his stack when his AK lost to two Aces (all in preflop). It just goes to show that anything can happen in a poker tournament – from leader to the sidelines in the blink of an eye!

Players in Event 13 have just returned from their second break of the day and we have an updated leaderboard. We’ve included the number of bounties won alongside the chip counts, because players generally keep a bounty chip on the table after winning it. This count is approximate, however, because players do have the right to put bounty chips awarded in their pocket – they only have to leave their own bounty chip on the table and visible.

The $100 Bounty event is paused as players take their first break of the day. Late registration continues to the end of the break, so the total number of players will likely rise to just about 200 – a great turnout for a great event!

Here are some photos from the early stages of the $100 Bounty tournament. There are already 173 players with another 50 minutes of late registration still to come, so it’s looking like this will be another huge event!
