Roman Domanski, who managed to double not long before his elimination hand with a second-best hand, was the victim of a major cooler. He was big blind, and ended up all-in against the small blind, all pre-flop:

Roman failed to hit a queen, and he was taken out in 6th place. Scott’s 7th place finish was worth $1,170, while Roman took $1,540 for his 6th position. Congratulations!
Armand King came to the final table as the chip leader, but after Éric Guindon built up his own stack, he doubled through King, which hit him hard. King survived a few all-ins after that, but eventually ended up with the short end of a 3-way all-in:

The board hit the best hand, which was also the biggest stack, pretty hard.
Armand King finishes 9th ($670), while Bradley Adams, who tried to isolate King with sevens, takes the 8th place ($890).

Yves Tremblay made the final table with very few chips, so when he was dealt 
, he decided that it was time to take a chance. Unfortunately for him, Marcel Deschamps woke up with 
. Yves found a jack on the flop, but did not improve.
He took $510 for his final table appearance. Well done!
With David Kovacic’s elimination in 13th place ($470), only 12 players were left. After a few hands, simultaneous busts brought the tournament down to 10 players, allowing the final table to form.

Just after making the money, our seniors had the luxury of a break, allowing them to appreciate the guarantee of a payout. When 15 players were left, they all agreed to take $200 off the 1st place and $100 off the second place, and put the sum up for the eventual 15th place finisher.
That player turned out to be Ken Ransom, who got $300 for his 15th place finish. James Harrington followed, and got $430. We are now resuming play, and everyone is sure to make at least $470 tonight.
