After 6 starting flights spanning across the last 3 days, and from a total of 1,105 entries, 225 players managed to earn a seat for tonight’s Day 2. These qualifiers will play 12 30-minute levels, during which the money will be reached, and whoever still has chips after 6 and a half hours of play will bag their belongings once more, and send them to tomorrow night’s Day 3 where we will see the conclusion of the $250 Frenzy.
The first goal for tonight will be to last until 117 players are left, which is the number of payouts that were prepared for this Event. After that, players will look to send a healthy stack to tomorrow, where the big money awaits.
Glen Wright starts Day 2 with the most chips, having bagged 289,500 chips at the end of Day 1F. Trevor Adams (286,500) and Marc-André Racine (260,000) are close by, and 14 other players will start with stacks north of 200K, which means that our leaderboard is very likely to change drastically within the first few levels.
The starting line up can be found below, and you will be able to follow the progression throughout the night here, on the Playground Poker Blog.
Good luck to all Day 2 qualifiers!
