Day 1C of Event 4 has just wrapped up with 29 of 146 players remaining, and while the surviving players are finishing bagging their chips, players in Day 1D are starting to take their seats with cards about to go in the air. Once ready, the player-reported chip counts from Day 1C will be added to the Combined List of Qualified Day 2 Players.
This is the 4th starting flight of 6 total in The $250 Frenzy, and so far this $200,000 guaranteed event has seen 414 entries take place prior to tonight. The board currently indicates just over 60 players registered so far in Day 1D, but we can expect this number to grow considerably as late registration is permitted until 9:15pm tonight.
Anyone unfortunate enough to have missed their chance at qualifying a stack onto Day 2 will have two more chances to do so after tonight, with Day 1E at 11am tomorrow, and Day 1F at 7pm. Day 2 will take place on Monday at 7pm.
See you on the felts!

The tournament is down to 38 players today and there are still 50 minutes to play in Day 1C, so that number will continue to go down – and in the process, some huge stacks will develop!

The remaining 50 players have returned from their recent break and play has now begun in the final stint of today’s Day 1C starting flight. It’s level 12 and play will continue through the end of level 14 – so there are just under 3 more levels to go.
Omar Tabbara, who was also on the last leaderboard, has surged to the front of the pack with about 200K in his stack with the other leaders at this point about 75K behind. As any tournament player will tell you, though, there’s still plenty of time for anything to happen…
