Meyer steps up and makes the correct call

    • Big Blind: 600
    • Button Ante: 600

    2018/06/27 - 23:12 by Jôle Simard

Cedric Meyer was on the river, heads-up with William Blais. In a pot of not even 10K, Blais had put Meyer all-in for his remaining 20K or so. Meyer was frowning, looking at Blais and the board alternately, trying to find insight.

Board: 4 of Spades Ace of Spades King of Hearts 9 of Clubs 7 of Diamonds

Meyer made the call with nothing but an ace! Blais showed 10 of Hearts 9 of Hearts, and started counting chips before he saw his opponent’s Ace of Clubs 10 of Spades! Meyer’s call was as tough as his opponent, who lives up to his reputation, event after event.
