Day 3 of the 2014 WPT Montreal has come to an end as the field has gone from 49 players to just 18 remaining. At the close of play today, Jonathan Jaffe seemed to be the chip leader with over 2.7M in chips, but we’ll have confirmation of this shortly.

suddenly made even-strength hands anything but, as Jaffe was freerolling for the flush. The turn 
brought that possibility closer and the on the river made it 100% – Jaffe hit the flush, and Jie Gao was out of the tournament.
