Event 2 – Results & Payouts

Event 2 in the Playground Poker Fall Classic was a $200 + $20 No Limit Hold’em Freeze that began November 13, 2014 at Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, Canada. There were 148 players in the tournament, which added up to a total prize pool of $28,712.00. The prizes were distributed according to the following table.

Note: the players in positions 15 and 16 were eliminated from the tournament during the same hand in hand-for-hand play, so consequently they split the prize for 15th place.

During the 3rd break of the night we found 3 players with over 200K in chips, and 2 of the three have been among the leaders for a while now. Garry Thompson and André St-Jean each seem to be controlling their tables and haven’t stopped accumulating enough chips to keep them in the lead.

The players are approaching the third break of the tournament and the play has tightened up somewhat with few eliminations but nevertheless some large stacks starting to be grown. Among the leaders is André St-Jean with almost 160K, followed by Garry Thompson with 150K.
