Registration has just closed in Day 1C of the WPT Montreal with 306 players, with last minute additions including 2017 PoY leader Bryn Kenney and recent CPC champion Kevin Rivest. With this being the final starting flight of the event, the grand total of entries is now final, with 606 entries forming a prize pool that surpassed the $2,000,000 guarantee boasted.
The final prize pool and payouts details are currently being sorted out by the TD, and once it is released we will publish all the relevant information.
Action is now back underway in Day 1C, with 232 players still in the running and 4 more levels to go. Day 2 takes place at 12pm tomorrow, Monday November 13th.

The WPT Montreal Day 1C players are nearing the end of their dinner-break, and will soon be returning to their seats to complete the flight. Another 4 levels of play lies ahead of them, after which the surviving players will bag and tad their chips onto tomorrow’s Day 2.
The registration period will close once level 7 begins, at which point we will have our final number of entries for this edition of the WPT Montreal.

The field in Day 1C of the WPT Montreal is shrinking very slowly, almost imperceptibly. 5 of 10 levels have passed, and 42 players have hit the rail, out of the 302 entries that took place today. Could it be that players are playing more carefully, due to the fact that this is the last chance to send a stack to Day 2?
Incidently, very few, if no players are currently standing out from the pack. All the same, we will prepare an extensive leaderboard when the dinner break arrives, which is one hour from now.
