Tonight on the agenda is a tournament format that we haven’t seen for some time at Playground Poker Club: a single-day NL Hold’em tournament that allows re-entries. There are several different formats of re-entry tournament that are common in multi-day tournaments, or in tournaments with a limited popular appeal like a PLO event, but for a straight, non-satellite Hold’em tourney? It hasn’t been seen in several years.
The re-entry rules in Event #13 are simple – unlimited re-entries are permitted during the first 4 levels of play. Following that, the tournament becomes a normal freezeout tourney and will play out until a champion is crowned early tomorrow morning.
Good luck to everyone playing tonight!
