Event #8, the NLHE Survivor, drew 85 entries, and 24 players remain. The survivor format plays down to 10% of the starting field when all the remaining players receive an equal share of the prize pool. For tonight’s tournament, the payout for each of the 9 survivors will be $2,155.00. The players are currently on break, and when they return the money bubble will be on the horizon so we expect every pot to be hard fought.

Tonight at 7h30pm started Event 8 – a $200 + $20 Survivor tournament. Upon registration, players are given 20,000 chips, and will play 20-minute levels until 10% of the field remains. That’s right, all you need to do to make as much money as you can make in this Event is outlast 90% of the field, at which point the tournament is concluded, and you have 10x’ed your money!
