In a stunning turn of events, William Blais was eliminated on the bubble in 8th place to be the final player eliminated in Day 1C of Event #2 – The Crazy $80 – in the Playground Winter Festival. We missed the hand in question, but we know that Blais had spread his chips among several players before finding himself all-in holding 
against Nabil Nahoul’s 
– and Blais was soon headed to the rail.
