David Bonneau is the champion of Event #5, the Deepstack Turbo. Bonneau capped off a great run by eliminating half of the final table on his way to victory. The players had made a deal when they were playing 5-handed so the hands that followed the deal were each all in pre-flop, which tends to happen in any turbo tournament notwithstanding a deal. Bonneau, playing with an overwhelming chip lead, bested David Mackenzie McNeil in heads up play. McNeil had led the tournament for a significant part of the later levels, but he ran out of gas at the final table. The final hand of the tournament went all in before the flop, and both players stood to watch the run out.
