Here are a few photos from the Seniors’ Tournament. The event is already just about through level 4, meaning the late registration period is coming to a close. Tournament staff have been seating alternates since the end of level 1 – this is proving to yet again be a very popular event, with 142 players having taken a seat in this freezeout event.
The Seniors have assembled around their tournament tables and without additional fanfare, they’re off in the Seniors’ Tournament in the Playground Winter Festival. To get things going tonight there are 96 players seated – Seniors’ events aren’t known for attracting too many people who wish to late reg. Even so, registration is open through the first 4 levels of play plus the first break – which is to say until 6:30pm.
