The players have settled in and play has tightened up as we approach the second break of the day. This flight drew 94 total entries, meaning that 10 players will advance to Day 2.

With a stronger turnout than the earlier Day 1s, today’s starting flight of the Crazy $80 drew 94 total entries. As predicted that leaves this event in overlay territory – a great added value for all those who made it out here over the course of the week.
With nearly 1.9 million in chips up for grabs, there could be some monster stacks going in to tomorrow’s Day 2 from this flight. So far, most players are hovering around average; however, two players – Daniel Gates and Jean-Philippe Lehoux – have managed to run up their stacks to more than double the average. Daniel Gates currently leads the way with 58,700.
With more players registering by the minute, the action is heating up quickly. Here are some photos from the early levels of Day 1D.
Registration continues at a brisk pace, with 58 entries so far. Even with the good early turnout, there is still a chance that there will be some overlay for this event; providing great value for everyone already in the field and everyone on their way to join them.
With over 1,000,000 chips in play as we start level 3, players have the chance to run up a huge stack to take with them to day 2. The re-entries have begun, with two so far, so expect the action to get even crazier!
Late registration runs until 12:30pm, leaving lots of time to enter and re-enter Day 1D!
The field is growing quickly here in the early going. We have our best turnout so far with 39 players already entered before the end of level 1. That number will surely grow as there is still over an hour left to enter and re-enter this starting flight.
The first three day 1s drew a total of 168 entries and 18 players have already qualified for Day 2. There is still a chance this event will be in overlay territory so take advantage and come down to Playground to get some of that value!
The final Day 1 of Event #2, The Crazy $80, is now underway. With the turnout over the first three Day 1s, there is a good chance for some prize pool overlay. This format – unlimited re-entries during the first four levels of play – offers players a great opportunity to get a piece of that added value. We expect the chips to be flying early and often because this is the last chance to qualify for tomorrow’s Day 2 and the players can fire as many bullets as they please in order to secure their spot in the money.
