Day 1B of the Frenzy is on its last leg, and the rich get richer. Daniel Mackay and Matthew Wilkins are picking up pot after pot. Meanwhile, Shaan Siddiqui is coming for the leaders at a dizzying pace, moving a lot of chips. He was seen showing a bluff on the river on 2 occasions.

In 30 minutes, survivors will bag their chips onto Monday’s Day 2, and their names will be added to the Combined Day 1 Results list, found in the Results section.

Here a look at our wealthiest players:

    Shaan Siddiqui

    Mathieu Daigneault
    Steven Dubois-Daigle
    Daniel Mackay
    Hugo Marquis

There are only 3 levels to be played before the end of the night. Players have taken their last break, during which we updated the top of the leaderboard.

Table 58 has calmed down a little bit, and the biggest stack there belongs to Hugo Marquis, who must have taken advantage of the hot action that was seen there earlier. It is now on table 57 that the chips are flying. This is where Daniel Mackay and Matthew Wilkins are doing their thing, busting player after player.

Michael Korovine is also doing very well, with his calm and steady approach.

    Here is our top 4:

Carl Martel managed to have his big slick paid by a weak ace:

Carl Martel: Ace of Hearts King of Spades
Douglas Best: Ace of Diamonds 7 of Diamonds

Board: Queen of Diamonds Queen of Clubs Ace of Spades 2 of Hearts Jack of Clubs

With this pot, Martel is now on the average, but with Mathew Wilkins and Daniel Mackay on his table, his time will not be easy.

Daniel Mackay, after flopping a nut straight, raised Roger Thibault’s 6K bet to 16,500. On his left was sitting Jerry Joseph Jaber. His neighbor, despite getting a massage, shoved his 40K in the middle. Thibault folded his hand, and Mackay snap called:

Daniel Mackay: King of Hearts Jack of Spades
Jerry Joseph Jaber: Ace of Spades 7 of Spades

Board: 9 of Spades Queen of Spades 10 of Clubs 6 of Hearts 5 of Hearts

With that pot, Mackay is the new chip leader with about 165K.

Of our top 4 stacks, Mathew Wilkins is the only one who does not have to worry about other whales. The other 3 are sharing the same table! Here is our current top 4, led by Steve Alexandre, who has been on top since before the 1st break:

In a 7K pot and on the turn, Jared Mcdonald bet 2,500 chips. Nick Nickoletopoulos raised to 6,500, and was met by a quick all-in to 16,400. Nickoletopoulos called, and realized that he needed the board to pair.
