Harry Chaimowiz just left the final table of the $250 Frenzy in 8th place, and he will take home $4,150. With the blinds at 50K/100K, there isn’t a lot of play left for the smaller stacks, and most hands are being played pre-flop. Sasan Mehrabian opened the action from early position and Chaimowiz went all in from the small blind. Mehrabian snap called and showed Ace of Clubs Ace of Hearts. Dejected, Chaimowiz tabled Jack of Spades Jack of Clubs. The board offered no help to the jacks and the aces stood. The full board was 4 of Hearts 7 of Clubs Queen of Spades 2 of Hearts 9 of Hearts.

Tanvir Ahmed just doubled up through Shaan Siddiqui when they got it all in before the flop. Ahmed was dominated with Ace of Diamonds Queen of Diamonds against Siddiqui’s Ace of Clubs King of Clubs, but he managed to flop a royal flush draw on Jack of Diamonds King of Diamonds Jack of Hearts, and made a flush on the turn thanks to the 5 of Diamonds which was followed by the 5 of Clubs. Ahmed is now playing around 2.3 million in chips.

Rami Hammoud has just left the final table, eliminated in 9th place, and will take home $3,140. Hammoud was all in before the flop holding Ace of Clubs Queen of Hearts, but he ran into Sasan Mehrabian’s Ace of Hearts Ace of Diamonds, and despite some help on the flop, the aces would not be cracked. The full board: Jack of Spades Jack of Hearts Queen of Spades 2 of Clubs King of Spades.

Anthony Khoury was eliminated in 10th place and took home $2,420.

Louis-Charles Levros was eliminated in 12th place, good for $2,420. After folding down to less than five big blinds, Levros moved all in from late position with Ace of Spades 8 of Spades and was called by Shailesh Patel, in the big blind, with Jack of Diamonds 9 of Diamonds. The flop, 9 of Spades 2 of Diamonds Queen of Spades, gave Levros lots of hope, but Patel had the lead with a pair. Patel managed to hang on as the turn, the 6 of Hearts, and river, the 2 of Hearts, offered no help to Levros who finished in 12th place.

    Louis-Charles Levros

Sebastien Brazeau was eliminated in 11th place, and he will also take home $2,420. Brazeau was all in before the flop and got a call from Tanvir Ahmed. It was a familiar tournament spot with middle pair up against two overs.

Brazeau: 7 of Hearts 7 of Diamonds

Ahmed: Ace of Spades 8 of Hearts

The flop was safe for the pair, but the turn gave Ahmed a lead that he would not relinquish. The runout was 4 of Spades 5 of Clubs 10 of Hearts Ace of Diamonds 5 of Hearts.

To out in 13th, Bouchard out in 14th

    2018/01/23 - 20:25 by Shawn McCrory

Tony To was eliminated in 13th place from the $250 Frenzy. To became Shaan Siddiqui’s latest victim when he moved all in for his last 140K. With the blinds at 30K/60K, Siddiqui easily completed the call from the small blind. Hands were tabled to show pocket jacks for To and suited onnectors for Siddiqui.

To: Jack of Clubs Jack of Diamonds

Siddiqui: 3 of Hearts 4 of Hearts

To knew he was in for a sweat when he saw the flop: 2 of Hearts 5 of Diamonds 10 of Hearts. The turn brought a blank, the Queen of Spades, but the river sealed To’s fate when the 6 of Clubs appeared.  The flush and straight draws were too much for To to dodge, and he hit the rail in 13th place, which will pay him $1,990.

Jean-Francois Bouchard was eliminated in 14th, which also paid $1,990.

Shaan Siddiqui is the current chip leader here in Day 3 of the $250 Frenzy. Siddiqui, who had a big stack before play began, eliminated Yonathan Moryoussef on one of the first hands of the evening to take a convincing chip lead over the field. Since then, Siddiqui has been relentlessly opening pots and stealing blinds. He also took a big pot of Tanvir Ahmed in the early going when he rivered a nut flush and had his 400K bet called by Ahmed, who was holding the second nuts. Siddiqui is now playing more than 4,500,00 in chips.
