About half of Parsons’ chips migrated from Joël Moreau’s stack before the last table break, while Bouchard managed to double up through Zhang. As for Nickoletopoulos, he was ground down to 6,500 – less than 1 blind – before winning 2 all-ins in a row, the first where he beat 4 poeple.

David Mcneil had only a handful of chips when the deal was agreed upon. During deliberations, he was not talking, but rather smiling, not believing his luck. Sure enough, after Laura Farrell’s departure, his naked ace fell to jacks and he got himself a nice $1,000 prize.

Shortly after, Alexander Allison busted after 3-betting all-in pre-flop from the small blind. Sylvain Bouchard made the call from the big blind and the initial raiser folded.

All 14 players agreed to take $500 off the 1st place, $700 off the 2nd place, and $300 off the 3rd place, to be redistributed to the next 2 players to bust. 14th will take $500, while 13th will take $1,000.

When Rong Xu opened, all folded but Mingzhe Zhang in the big blind. Zhang reversed the action on the flop, not letting Xu place a continuation bet. However, Xu replied by raising the 20K bet to 60K. Zhang called.

On the turn, Zhang checked and Xu went all-in for 129,500. Zhang tanked for a while, then called. At this point everybody knew that both flopped a monster. Cards were tabled.

A pot of almost 400K was pushed Zhang’s way, while Xu, understandably disgusted by the result, was left with 1 big blind. He went out shortly after, in 17th, after Michael Levy and before Dario S. and Ivan Driard. 14 players are left.
